# I Built a Full-Stack Software Ecosystem on an Android Device [FISH GANG]

A lot of developers believe you need a MacBook, a dual-monitor setup, and 32GB of RAM to build real software. I am here to prove that is a **fake** myth.

I built an entire software ecosystem—complete with serverless APIs, a custom esoteric programming language, and a full authentication system—entirely on a **DOMO Slate SL39** (a budget Android tablet) and a **Redmi Go** (a literal Android Go device).

No PC. No funding. No bootcamp. Just a mobile-first workflow, a lot of patience, and the sheer delusion required to think it could work. Here is the full breakdown of **Fish Gang Co.**

## The Origin Story
Fish Gang Co. didn't start as a grand business plan. It started as a Discord server in July 2025. By December 2025, I decided to turn the name into a real software company. I built the first legacy version of the site in February 2026, and over the following months, I iterated through 11 versions of my own programming language until arriving at the current deep-ocean themed ecosystem.

Even the mascot has a story: it's named after Sunary, a flowerhorn fish who passed away in 2025. The company operates on one simple philosophy: **Zero ads. Forever free. Built by one person.**

## The Tech Stack
Because I don't have a PC, everything is developed in mobile code editors or directly in the browser.
* **Frontend:** Vanilla HTML/CSS/JS. No React, no Next.js. Just raw code and a highly optimized custom design system.
*   **Backend:** Netlify Serverless Functions.
* **Database & Auth:** Firebase Realtime Database.
* **The Interpreter Engine:** The original language was written in Python. For the web version, I manually ported the entire engine to JavaScript so it runs securely in the browser and on the server without a heavy backend container.

## Deep Dive: The Tools (What It Actually Does)
This isn't just a landing page. It's a functional suite of browser-based tools. Here is exactly what each one does:

### 1. Code Studio
A fully functional, browser-based web development environment.
* **How it works:** It uses a file-tree editor backed by browser `localStorage`. You can create HTML, CSS, and JS files, write code, and click "Run" to see a live preview in an isolated iframe. It also features a "Download" button to export your files.

### 2. Image Workstation
A complete image editing tool that runs entirely in your browser.
* **How it works:** It uses raw Canvas API pixel math. It features filters (B&W, vintage, negative, etc.), cropping, rotating, and drawing. Most importantly, it has a **Background Removal** tool that uses Euclidean color distance to remove pixels based on tolerance—no AI models, no uploading your private photos to a server.

### 3. Archive Editor
A tool for managing custom file formats.
* **How it works:** It handles `.fol` files. A `.fol` file is a custom archive format (a JSON manifest + a pipe `|` + concatenated raw bytes). This tool lets you pack a folder into a `.fol`, unpack one, or edit text files directly inside the archive and re-pack it.

### 4. Skibidi Playground (The Custom Esolang)
This is the crown jewel. Skibidi is a custom esoteric programming language (SCL/STL) built entirely from scratch.
* **How it works:** It uses complex-number memory cells, a pointer, and a stack. It has over 20 commands with unhinged names like `dop`, `rizz`, `gyatt`, and `gooner`.
* **The Catch:** It takes exactly 66 steps (65 `dop` commands and one `rizz`) just to print the letter 'A'. Macros existed in v4.0 and v4.1, but I removed them in v5.0 because I hate convenience.
* **The Chaos:** If you type `diddy gooner` while the "spoiled" flag is active, the interpreter literally crashes itself.

## Deep Dive: The Developer APIs
The tools are backed by real, free, server-side APIs that anyone can use.
* **Skibidi API:** Send a POST request with your Skibidi code, and the server runs it in a secure sandbox and returns the output.
* **Image API:** Send a base64 image and an array of operations (filters, crop, bg-remove). The server processes the pixel math and returns the edited PNG.
* **Archive API:** Send a payload to pack or unpack `.fol` files server-side.

## Deep Dive: Platform Features
* **Authentication & Support:** Fish Gang has its own custom login. Once signed in, users can open support tickets. This isn't a static form—it's a real-time chat system using Firebase, and it supports Web Push notifications so you get an alert when I reply.
* **Performance Tiers:** The site detects device memory and CPU speed. If you're on a high-end device, you get an animated bubble waterline. If you're on an older device (like my Redmi Go), it automatically switches to Static mode to save battery and RAM.

## The "Google AI Validated Me" Moment
A few days ago, I finally got around to polishing the SEO. I added a `sitemap.xml`, generated the favicons, and submitted the site to Google Search Console.

A few hours later, I searched for "Fish Gang Co. by @chirag7gaming". Google's AI Overview didn't just index the site—it generated a full company bio. It correctly identified me as an indie founder, recognized the mobile-only workflow, and highlighted the "zero ads, forever free" philosophy.

When a trillion-dollar AI validates your workflow, you know you're on the right track.

Let me know what you think in the comments. Which tool would you actually use? And how many `dop`s did you type in the playground before you gave up? 💀
